Do I need to know how to crochet?

Not at all! Our kits are designed with beginners in mind. Each kit comes with everything you need to get started, plus a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you through the process.

What's included in a kit?

Each Thread & Fern kit includes the materials you need to create your chosen animal, including the yarn, crochet hook, stuffing and other required accessories. Everything is packaged together so you can simply open your kit and start stitching.

How long does a kit take to make?

It depends on the animal and your experience, but our kits are designed to be completed over a few enjoyable crafting sessions. Don't worry if you're new to crochet, there's no need to rush!

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver throughout the UK. We don't currently offer international delivery.

How much is delivery?

Standard UK delivery is £4.50, or free on orders over £40.

When will my order arrive?

Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and usually arrive within 2–5 working days after dispatch.

What if I get stuck?

Don't panic! Your kit comes with a step-by-step video tutorial to help you along the way. If you're still stuck, you can always contact us and we'll do our best to help.

What if my order arrives damaged or something is missing?

We're sorry! Please email customer.services@threadandfern.co.uk with your order number and, where possible, a photo of the issue. We'll get it sorted for you.

How does the charity donation work?

We donate 15% of every kit's profit towards protecting what inspired its design. So while you're creating something of your own, you're also helping protect the real animals and wild places that inspired our kits.

Can I return my kit?

If you change your mind about your purchase, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help. Our full returns policy explains the process and any applicable conditions.
